Hello Hello, Francesco De Gregori - 1985
Hello Hello Francesco De Gregori has always been one of my songs prefer, and text I've always been curious about the one part, where the emphasis is on the verb "spit" Hello hello, it's a shame to leave, but hello hello.
Beautiful woman at the door greeting me.
and kisses, hugs and spit, spit
and I love that, I do not ever spit.
Hello, hello, hello hello so leaving was written. Beautiful girl who never knew me no. Already
the train, waving his handkerchief,
my love, but you cry less.
Hello, hello, hello, hello love, hello love.
Look at beautiful flowers in that city.
love Hello hello, how are you love?
Hello love, my love, hello love.
Hello, hello, look at the beautiful flowers in that city,
that I never won and never even see me.
Look at the sea! Look
small boats going to sail.
's a song on the Adda to a person, or a phase that closes. Who has never said goodbye to a person or a time in your life?
I said the word spit. Penne in dialect, "you do not ever spit" / "you ni sput'a me" you say to someone who is never silent. Spit in this sense means breath. You talk so much that you never stop to catch my breath.
When we say goodbye to something or someone, that did not stop to say hello, say goodbye when we received word we first have to want to tell ourselves we staged our farewell. It might look from a ship or a train from the city who has been dismissed, the person who does not want to know us, and slam him in the face hello hello, so excited by saying, for fear of not doing in time to be honest, our poetry.
This is my interpretation - very personal - of Hello Hello. In the biographies of De Gregori is reported that he spent a few years of his life in Pescara (known is his collaboration with musician source Penne Experience Tnt), and I like to think that the use of the verb to spit in that way is a tribute our ways of speaking.
